Nathan Smee (Owner, Lead Play-By-Play Announcer)

Nathan founded SmeeSports back in 2023 and has been the owner since. In May of 2025, he made the decision to apply (successfully) for an LLC title. Some of his duties include calling games, setting up and tearing down equipment, running social media, coordinating coverage, and calling games. He is a sophomore at the University of Mount Union. Cameron Ragazzo (Color Commentator)

Cameron is one of our lead color commentators. He interned for us in the Summer of 2025 and has called the most games for us outside of Nathan. In addition to calling Holy Name baseball, Cam calls Tri-C baseball. Cam was also the co-founder of Holy Name Broadcasting back in 2021. He is a sophomore at Baldwin Wallace.

Gabriel Cozza (Color Commentator, Writer)

Gabriel is one of our lead color commentators, especially during basketball. As an avid Steelers (and Pittsburgh in general) sports fan, he writes a lot of articles about Pittsburgh sports. Additionally, he will begin writing about Cincinnati sports in the fall when he begins his sophomore year. He joined SmeeSports officially as an intern in the Summer of 2025 but has helped out with numerous broadcasts beforehand.

Daniel Ridenour (Writer, MAC Conference)

Daniel is our lead MAC Conference writer with an emphasis on Bowling Green, where he will be a freshman in the fall. He was the founder of the Eastwood Sports Network, which gave him his start in sports media. In July, he attended the MAC Media Day in Detroit on behalf of BG and SmeeSports. He came to SmeeSports in the Summer of 2025 as an intern. He is our anchor in the Northwest region of Ohio.

Emily Malburg (Writer)

Emily is one of our top writers as she brings a vast knowledge of many sports. With articles spanning from Hockey to baseball and basketball, she has been a great addition to the SmeeSports team. She joined us in the Summer of 2025 as an intern. In the fall, she will begin her junior year at Xavier while also writing for Musketeer athletics on behalf of SmeeSports.
